Three magazines with a reformist orientation, Aseman weekly and monthly journals Tajrobeh and Mehr Nameh shut down

No reason has been given for this. Mohammad Quchani, Editor-in-Chief of Mehr Nameh, denied the reports on the ban. Quoting the conservative news website, Tabnak, several Iranian news websites had reported that the weekly Aseman, and two monthlies called Tajrobeh and Mehr Nameh were banned. Quchani added, “So far, no letter stating the journals have been banned sent to the offices of these journals from the Press Supervisory Board or the Prosecutor’s Office on the journals been banned.”
