Those who recommend compromise or negotiations with US are undoubtedly either unwise or traitors

Mohammad Reza Naqdi, head of Basij of the Oppressed Organization, blamed the US for the appearance of “ten-fold inflation in (Iran’s) economy,” saying that “Those who recommend that we either compromise or negotiate with the US are undoubtedly either unwise or traitors… We categorically declare that the US is not a friend of ours, and any negotiation with it is an indication of treason or lack of discretion… Certain people recommend that we negotiate, whereas today we need an uprising (against the US power) rather than negotiation and compromise.”
