Secretary General of Iran’s Human Rights Committee: Ahmad Shaheed “an evil fool”; Judiciary chairman: West criticizes Iranian laws but does not allow freedom of expression on Holocaust

Monday, 3 February 2014

Javad Larijani called the United Nations special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in Iran  Ahmad Shaheed an “evil fool” and added that the evil fool’s report stated that 4 people are supposed to have been executed in Iran and following the report, we received thousands of letters that called us to not execute the four members of PJAK. Who are these four? One killed two people in front of a bakery. Another blew up a house. The third attacked a weapon to attack another person and the fourth was arrested at home that was full of RPGs and bombs. His brother, head of the Iranian Judiciary Sadeq Ardeshir Amoli Larijani called the draft of the new report by Ahmad Shaheed on human rights full of lies and inaccurate impressions. Larijani criticized what he called the West’s hypocrisy in the internal laws of countries. Sadeq Larijani added that while the West and institutions subject to its influence criticizes Iran’s penal laws and punishments, they do not allow anyone to study or express an opinion on the Holocaust. “Related: Stop the executions” – UN rights experts alarmed at the sharp increase in hangings in Iran
