IRGC denies reports that Commander of Al Quds asked Nasrallah to refrain from preemptive strikes against Israel

Thursday, 17 May 2012

The IRGC Spokesman’s office denied reports of a conversation between Qasem Suleimani, Commander of Al Quds Force, and Hezbollah Chairman Hassan Nasrallah, and the former’s supposed warning against preemptive strikes targeting the Zionist regime (Israel). Suleimani vehemently denied the report and accused the Zionists of spreading disinformation. (The item has since been taken off the website.)

(Note: Perhaps Iranians were alarmed by Nasrallah’s impassioned May 11 speech, in which he said that unlike in July 2006, Hezbollah today is capable not only of hitting the entire city of Tel Aviv, but also of pinpointing targets anywhere in “occupied Palestine”…the times when we leave our homes, but they (Israelis) stay in their homes are long gone… When our homes were destroyed and theirs remained intact… We are not afraid any more… We will survive, and they will be eradicated.)
